Bikes are included in the price of the tour. Bikes are well-maintained 27-speed Scott Sub Cross 40 (or similar) men’s and ladies bikes, equipped with two saddlebags, a high visibility jacket, map holder, repair kit, and lock. Bike helmet is not included. Bikes are delivered to your hotel and you can test them at your convenience.
Electric bikes can be rented for this tour (€75 per person).We advise you only to rent an electric bike if you have first tried one at home. They’re heavier than regular bikes and therefore can be difficult to maneuver. In addition, you can rent children’s bikes, child seats, and bike trailers.

Welcome in Espernay in the heart of the Champagne region.
From Epernay, ride along the small cycling roads bordered with vineyards, offering nice view points over the Vallée de la Marne, until the famous monk village Dom Pérignon : Hautvillers ! After staring at the 140 wrought iron signboards, scroll along nice wine villages like Fleury la Rivière or Oeuilly before returning to the capital of Champagne.

Through a Voie Verte ride along the Marne river ! Cycle to Aÿ then to Condé sur Marne via the new Véloroute of the Vallée de la Marne. Enjoy the highlights of the Marne valley such as the roman church of Conde or the Montebello casttle in Mareuil sur Ay. Along the famous vineyards of Champagne, ride back to Epernay. The view over the vineyards from the little church of Mutigny is really breathtaking!

Leave Epernay to reach the pretty little church of Chavot-Courcourt, lost in the vineyards, then ride along the famous ‘Côte des Blancs’. Along some of the classified Grand Cru villages, pedal on the slopes producing Chardonnay grapes. Discover typical vineyards villages nested between the vineyard and the lush forest: Avize, Cramant, Mesnil-sur-Oger.
